I work with high functioning AANHPI professionals who look like they have it all together on the outside, but feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck on the inside.

If you struggle with self-doubt, stress, perfectionism, or feeling like you have to hold it all in, you’re not alone. Many of us were raised to push through the hard times, stay quiet, and not show weakness, even when we we’re struggling.. Therapy offers a safe place to release some of that pressure, quiet the noise, and come back to yourself.

My approach is collaborative, grounded, and holistic. I work with the whole person: mind, emotion, body, and spirit. Most of us were never taught how to care for our emotional needs. Together, we’ll make sense of what’s going on beneath the surface, explore where those patterns come from, and find new ways to feel more balanced, in control, and at peace.

I know therapy can feel unfamiliar, especially if feelings weren’t something talked about or accepted in your family. I’ve been through the process myself. It’s not always easy to open up, but you won’t have to do it alone. We’ll move at your pace. In this work, you’re the captain of the ship; I’m just here to help you navigate and stay the course toward healing.

  • In our first session, we’ll embark on a collaborative journey. I’ll conduct a straightforward assessment to understand your background, the challenges you’re facing, and your current symptoms. This isn’t just about gathering information; it’s about ensuring we’re a good fit for each other. Once we establish that connection, we’ll work together to define your treatment goals and lay the groundwork for your progress. Think of this session as the beginning of a partnership focused on your growth and well-being. Let’s take that first step together!

  • Virtual therapy provides a convenient and accessible way to connect with a therapist from the comfort of your home. Through secure video calls, phone conversations, or messaging platforms, we’ll engage in meaningful discussions just as we would in-person. This flexible format is perfect for those with busy schedules, making mental health support more reachable than ever. Many clients appreciate how virtual therapy creates a safe and private space to explore their thoughts and feelings.

    Once your initial session is scheduled, you’ll receive an email inviting you to your personalized client portal, where you can complete all necessary intake paperwork before our session. The day before our appointment, you’ll receive a secure Zoom link via email for our video session. On the day of your session, simply click the link, and you’re all set to go!

  • Therapy is a personalized journey, and the frequency of our sessions will be tailored to your unique needs. Typically, new clients will meet with me weekly for the first six weeks. This initial period is crucial for establishing a solid foundation for our therapeutic relationship. After those first few weeks, we’ll take the time to re-evaluate your progress and determine if any adjustments are needed moving forward. Together, we’ll ensure that the pace of our sessions aligns with your goals and supports your growth.

  • The journey through therapy is as unique as you are. While some clients may choose a brief, focused approach to tackle specific challenges, others benefit from a longer commitment, using therapy as a tool for ongoing growth and resilience against life's unpredictability.

    As a general guideline, a three-month investment in therapy is often recommended to lay a solid foundation for meaningful change. However, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer—what matters most is finding a pace that suits your needs and goals.
